Labor Day
It’s not as pleasant out this morning. Radar is showing some rain around… Mostly across Galveston Bay and into Western Louisiana. We actually had a 5-minute shower Sunday afternoon. We really could use a much longer soaking rain.
Most of the family was here yesterday for our early Labor Day celebration.
The obligatory smoked meats or eaten by all.
It was also an early birthday celebration for my middle grandson. My second grandkid in high school…
I hope everyone has a pleasant Labor Day. Try to stay cool and I’ll catch y’all on the other side.

It rained…
I take your point about it not being so pleasant this morning, but on the other hand — waking up to rain clouds was a change. I can’t think of anything more pleasant than some real rain. At least if it comes, your gathering won’t be affected! Enjoy the day!
Linda, by 4pm we had had about 1.5 inches in a multitude of small heavy showers…
