It’s chilly outside today. And and blustery, the wind is blowing, rain is falling. We’re probably at about the warmest it’s going to be today as the cold front comes barreling in from New Mexico. Over half of the state of Texas is forecast to have snow today and tomorrow, before the front moves on out to the east and north.

I just put a strata in the oven for breakfast. Sausage, onions, peppers, potatoes, and eggs. It should be done in about 30 minutes and then it’ll be breakfast time.

You know, the times we’re living through have a lot of the same feeling as the late ’60s, early ’70s. It was a time when a big portion of the country was in disagreement over the direction we needed to go. Today feels much the same. And it seems, that the arguments are playing out geographically much the same. I don’t foresee much changing in the near future.

Sadly, especially today, we live in alternate universes. The facts in my universe don’t seem to be relevant to the president’s syncopants. But then, they told us what they were going to do right after he was elected. They called it alternative facts. And that’s the way they’ve ruled.

All I can say, is that this too, shell end. Somehow, some way, we will get through this ignorance and cult-like reliance on the words of liars, cheats, and thieves. And sadly all too many of the liars, cheats, and thieves, are in our government. They lie about election results. They lie about voter fraud. They cheat to stop the other side from voting. And then they try to get the votes that were legally cash thrown out. And they had the audacity, to call it a stolen election, voter fraud.

And then, when there are supporters riot and all but stage a coup, they blame it on the other side. As if the streaming videos didn’t show what we all saw. What you gonna believe, you’re lying eyes or you’re lying representatives. God help us all.

Y’all stay safe, stay healthy, and pray for our nation. Four years was way too much to have to put up with this lying man’s temper tantrums. I guess we all will have to keep the faith that the nation is stronger than the treasonous folks trying to overthrow our election.
