It’s not quite as cool. The sky’s not a vibrantly clear. Sunrise this morning is actually a bit more interesting with the addition of the clouds. Though it’s a bit funny the way those dark clouds dissipate almost the minute they feel the sun.

But, the clouds on the eastern horizon have risen with the sun. Keeping the morning looking like pre-sunrise.

It hasn’t stopped the birds from singing though. And, again this morning, I’m hearing a warbling call from the woods… not quite a song, more of a call. But a wren sings over by the shed. I’ve been hearing what sounds like a phoebe off and on the past few days.

It’s now light enough, and late enough, that the mechanical sounds of civilization are starting to drown out the more calming sounds of the natural world waking up.

The dogs off in the county are unsettled over something. Probably the same mechanical sound that’s bothering me. Just a distant roaring, not really loud… just enough to annoy.

The sun is up and in my eyes… I think I’ll move this muse inside.

Well, that was an interesting discovery… Something about the block i used to lay out the above text and images doesn’t work from the mobile app. So that I wouldn’t lose half of this post I had to go in on my phone and re layout this post… then open it on my desktop and redo the layout… I’ll know better in the future.

So the morning was both calming and learning. And a total lesson in the vagrancies of technology. You never know when a glitch will turn up… But there is almost always a work around to recovery…

Y’all stay safe, stay healthy, and Pray for our Nation and the world. Y’all have a good day.

  1. I tried using the WP app on my iPad once, just to see if it might be somewhat intuitive. I couldn’t figure it out, at all. It’s the desktop for me.

    1. When I first tried it long ago it just didn’t work at all. Now I rely on it for my daily muses. From taking and editing the photos to typing my muse, I’ve been spoiled by the way it works. This was a block in the editor that I’ve used on my desktop that lost two paragraphs of text when I tried to open the draft. So I had to edit everything out of that block and save the draft… Then open it on my laptop and reuse the block I’d wanted all along… A long way around to accomplish the very same thing.
