It’s still out here on the front porch… Kinda muggy, but not too warm. According to the prognosticators it will be pushing 90 degrees today.

Here’s a short video of yesterday’s afternoon thunder storms. They were relatively quick, but dropped a lot of water in a short time. They hit before I could quite finish mowing the yard. I still have a piece of the back yard to finish.

Well, my time on the front porch didn’t last. The stillness and the mugginess and the need of my laptop drove me inside. I would of toughed out except for the need of the laptop. It looks like I’ll be spending my morning muses on the back porch under the ceiling fans.

I now have the morning news in the background. For once the first news isn’t about the pandemic. Today like yesterday, that news is coming from Minneapolis. This almost seems like a return to the south I grew up in back in the 1960’s and ’70’s. You would think in America of the 21st century would have gotten it’s act together.

….These THUGS are dishonoring the memory of George Floyd, and I won’t let that happen. Just spoke to Governor Tim Walz and told him that the Military is with him all the way. Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts. Thank you!
