A time when we only had two kids… Life was still going on in Pasadena. We were still living in my childhood home. A time when both my parents were still alive. Both my maternal grandparents were still alive. I was in the middle of my working life…

You know, way back in 1992 I lost most of what little bit of respect I still had for Republicans… This weeks condemnation of two of their members as the RNC made the pronouncement that the January 6th Insurrection was just normal political discourse pretty much disabused me of that shred of… Let’s just say my BS Meter has been shattered by the absolute surety of their Trump/Gingrich worship. But, If I hear another Republican say anything at all about BLM I’m gonna call BS on them…
Y’all stay safe, stay healthy, and say a prayer for our dysfunctional country and the world… I’ll catch y’all on the other side…
Happy birthday! Any plans for your annual trip to the refuge?
Thank you Linda. If I make the trip it will be tomorrow. I never make the trip on weekends, I prefer the quiet and solitude… especially when it comes to my birthday… A day of reflection.
