Where, Oh Where Is Winter?

This week has been very wintery looking at least… Though, truth be told, it hasn’t felt at all seasonable. Overcast skies… Winds… But, temperatures keep topping out in the 70’s and 80’s…

Even today. with a weather change in the forecast, most of the country would appreciate the pleasant temperatures… Me… I’m wanting a bit of fall at least!

Sadly, the winds and rains have stripped my red oak of it’s leaves long before the color peaked. That seems to be the story all over the area… Trees absent all of their leaves before their fall color could even materialize.
