It’s A Misty, Rainy Monday

A pre-dawn rain shower started the day… Warmer than normal… The overnight low never reached 70…

I’ve been battling squirrels all weekend… I can’t keep them off of my birdfeeders… over and over I’ve had to chase them off. It seems this years crop of squirrels is the most abundant in recent memory… And sadly, the mast crop doesn’t seem to match. I’ve noticed a marked decline in the acorn and the pecan crop this fall. About the only thing falling from the trees are leaves…

The prognosticators are foretelling of a short cool down tonight. The overnight lows are foretold to be about 20 degrees cooler. A low of 52 will fill much more seasonable for early December. Though, it’ll be the weekend before we see low’s in the 40’s…

Well, my coffee cup needs refilling… So, y’all stay safe, stay healthy, and pray for our dysfunctional nation and the world… I’m seeing fewer masks out and about as another variant starts to run amok…

Catch y’all down the road…
