The temperature this morning is almost 80°, the humidity is above 90%. And with all that being said, my allergies are acting up. Par for the course for July and Texas on the Gulf Coast.

I see the business across the road is not giving their employees a holiday today. Cars and trucks are coming and going, their little delivery vans/ service trucks Horn in and out.

We had enough rain yesterday afternoon at when I walked out to run my daughter home, a couple of little blue herons were wading through the low spot in my side yard. I have no idea what they were fishing for.

That has pretty much been the pattern for the last week. At least one rain shower a day. Dropping a goodly amount of rain to flood the driveway and inundate the yard. According to the prognosticators their foretelling it’s for much of the same for the rest of this week.

Well the coffee cup is running low. So y’all stay safe, stay healthy, and pray for the nation in the world. And while you’re at it try to stay cool and enjoy the day.
