It’s a cool, cool mostly sunny morning. The pictures above were taken between buses. Now after the second bus it’s bright outside and the sun is shining and it’s 50°. When we first walked out it was 48°, cooler than I expected.
On my agenda today is my second covid-19 shot. Does that mean I plan to change my behavior? No, I plan to act as I’ve acted for the last year. I plan to wear my mask as I’ve worn it for most of this experience. Especially whenever I’m out in public…
From all reports, the second shot is not as easy as the first. More people show a reaction to the second shot. Most commonly, flu like symptoms. So I would imagine the rest of this week I will be a little bit testy. But we will see.
Today appears to be headed towards being a almost perfect spring day. Partly cloudy, mostly sunny and the forecasted high of 72°. When’s out of the northern sector of the sky.
Well, I guess I better cut this short… Things to do today. So, y’all stay safe, stay healthy, and pray for our nation and the world.
Have a great Monday.
I got the Moderna vaccine, and six hours after the second shot, I got the whole range of side effects (except a sore arm): fever, chills, fatigue, muscle aches, headache. About twenty-four hours later, the symptoms just disappeared, and within forty-eight hours I was back to normal. One Excedrin and a good night’s sleep seemed to take care of it.
The same vaccine for me. I await my own set of side effects…
