As we work our way to Thanksgiving Day this week I’m going to spend some valuable musing time thinking about what I have to be thankful for.
Number one on my thankful list is that, so far, no one in my immediate family has fallen victim to Covid-19. With the two women in my house working in the medical field, that’s a big thing to be thankful for.
Ranking at number two is the fact that we will not be suffering through four more years of Trump. I don’t know how much the new administration can do to return us to where we were with all of the same obstructionist Senators in power… we can only pray that what’s been taken can be returned.
I’m also thankful that, so far at least, we haven’t fallen into open civil war. Though, truthfully I’m surprised trump isn’t calling for insurrection to keep his ass in the oval.
