I lay in bed a while after the alarm… wasn’t really asleep. I had actually been awake for a bit before the alarm… in that half world of fantasy and reality… thoughts running through my head.

Once I decided to move I wandered about my morning routine… with the added chore of making the coffee pot. That’s usually a night before job so Sherry can just hit the button when she gets up of a morning. Last night I foregot…

Once I made it out on the porch, the world was a bit hazy with a layer if lite fog and the sun hadn’t quite made an appearance. So for a little while I could enjoy the quiet of the morning.

Someone, off in the distance, was already up and working. They were up and working yesterday early too. I’m still waiting for the next weather change. Needing the ceiling fans isn’t my idea if fall weather… just saying.

Well, the sun shinning in my eyes has run me inside. I couldn’t justify the trouble of setting up the umbrella for just a short visit… and I wanted my first cup of muse.

I’m gonna keep this short… Y’all stay safe, stay healthy, and Pray for our Nation and the world. Wear a damn mask. Social distance. And, yeah, wash your hands often. Now they are telling us to keep gatherings to less than ten even at home…

  1. I wasn’t certain whether you still were tweaking your blog, but in yesterday’s posting there were photos in the email, but not in the post. It’s the same with this one. Yesterday, there wasn’t a place to comment, either, but you’ve clearly taken care of that.

    1. I was trying to play well with the Google. they are emphasising speed on mobile. Evidently the optimization plugin leaves a bit to be desired with my image centric site. I’ll just have to take the ding from the google gurus about my slow site on mobile. Thanks for pointing it out, please try again and let me know if it’s still not working.
