The morning starts out warm and gray. An overall, overreaching, overwhelming gray to the world. Even the normally unheard cows in the neighbor’s pasture are mooing mournfully.

This transitional weather leaves a lot to be desired. Waiting for the change, anticipating the change even, frustrated by the slowness of the change. Transitions are almost painful. And a transition blocked by petulant weather patterns can seem to drag on and on… Much like a Trump presidency.

I sometimes heard his rally chants of “four more years” and wondered if his supporters ever thought how to the majority of us the last four years felt like eight already… just saying.

And the damage he’s done to the country… Democrats will require twelve years to get us back to where we were… Just so the next Republican President can screw it all up again… it’s a pattern we’ve been following since the 1980’s.

Between the cows and the chickens, I really do feel like I’m living in the country.

For a few minutes the gray opened up. The sun made an appearance. Blue sky was visible. Then, like a pleasant dream, it faded back into the reality of the day.

Now, I need another cup and to start working on my day. Today’s focus will be right here on this site. There’s a good chance that tomorrow might even bring a whole new look to the place… you never know…

Y’all stay safe, stay healthy, and Pray for our Nation and the world. Wear a damn mask. Wash your hands often. Socially distance when you are out.
