Sunday, November Eighteenth

Overcast, but, not really all that cool for this Sunday morning coffee muses.

It’s already after nine, but it doesn’t look like it. Slow moving grey skies… barely moving to the northeast.

Somewhere on the other side of the house, the sun poked through… for just a moment.  Bright light and promises… pardon the song reference.

Just before bed last night I caught a BBC documentary about the Carpenters and songs I hadn’t thought about in decades are now popping into my head at an ungainly clip.

Today, once again, we go adventuring into the land of heroes and monsters. It’s game day. D&D. Over the course of our game our party has morphed into a mostly elfin/half elf group with a token human.

We didn’t start out that way. But two of our party had characters from an earlier game they had participated in that they really loved,  so they asked to bring them over… their original characters were magicly transposed into the new characters on a long rest. Though, truth be told, sometimes I still miss Bah of the Das Clan.

It’s about time for breakfast. So later gater.
