Friday, October Fifth

Another warm, humid start to a fall day for my morning coffee muses.

On the TV box Mitch McConnell is telling the Republican myth about the character of Brett Kavanaugh. Leader McConnell’s call from the Senate floor for comity comes from a person who’s history on the subject calls his words into question.

For all of those who think this has been an unfair treatment of a good man, I challenge your narrow definition of a good man. The one thing that can be said about Judge Kavanaugh is that he has proved his partisan bonifides from his actions all the way back to his early days in politics. And face it, most of his career has been political, not just judicial.
