Rain… The prognosticators say we have a goodd chance to see some today… The radar shows some to the north in east Texas… I would enjoy a rainy morning coffee muses.

Right now though, it’s just hot, humid, and way too sunny. Overnight, the low was in the upper seventies… I hate it when the temperature deities do that. When the morning starts off that warm, it’s miserable before you know it. All of the reporting stations in town are already putting the temperature above 85°. And it’s barely 8:30….

It’s so quiet out today that I can hear the squirrels munching on the mimosa tree seed pods. And still… I can only hope it’s the still before the rain storm.

I am wondering if there is a police car sitting out on the road… I seldom see this consistency of slow moving cars in our road.

Ok the temperature is pushing 90° now with some drifting clouds. I feel the need to abandon this outdoor seat…

Ahhh, the more springlike temperature of the indoors…

The top news story today, once again, is the California fires… our prayers go out to everyone who is impacted.

The number two story… North Korea. It seems the great Trump win, wasn’t so great. It looks like there missile program is still ticking…
