July Twenty-seventh, Friday

It’s later than normal, warm as usual, humid as always… morning coffee muses.

There are a number of Mississippi Kites flying around through the trees this morning. At least one of whom is calling over and over as it circles above the trees out front.

The little patch of sky I can see is beautifully blue.

The grass in the yard is wonderfully green.

The heat and lack of rain is starting to have an effect on the trees and grasses. Sadly the prognosticators keep moving our chances of rain down the calendar…

Hummingbirds still call at the feeder.

I just walked inside and turned on the news… President Trump was on live talking about the economy… Sadly… The President has spent so much of his time telling lies I can’t even sit and listen. I cannot trust anything that comes out of his mouth.

The saddest fact of all though… The President’s approval rating among Republicans is at its highest. His lies having turned his base against the actual fact checkers. Believing only what come from FOX and friends.

On another note, it looks like California is having a hell of a summer… literally.

Oh well… time to move on.
