Monday, June twenty-fifth

It feels a tad cooler today, no condensation on the windows either… a Monday morning coffee muses.

The sun was behind a cloud when I shot the image above… it didn’t stay there long.

The first bird on the feeder today was a blue jay. Cattle egrets are settling in on the right of way.

I can’t spend too much time out here this morning, I have to take my car in for service and an inspection. It’s the last free service. Makes me almost want to trade it in… not. Though, having Subaru America picking up the tab for oil changes and filter replacement for two years has been quite nice. We take Sherry’s in on Saturday.

The cardinal males are singing their territories this morning. And the cicadas are calling for heat. A mockingbird is serenading me from the top of the pines.

Time to head in and get ready…
