Saturday, March 23rd

Overcast and cool, the day starts out with a tang of something burned in the air. Birds sing all around. Trains blowing their crossing horns as they rush down the rails.

The wisteria is looking almost fully dressed in purple blossoms. The young mulberry tree even has some berries working on it. All of the pecan trees I can see are showing green leaves, small but visible.

Enjoy your weekend.

  1. I’ve been gone for three days, and when I came back into town tonight, I noticed the wisteria everywhere. It must have popped out with those few sunny days we just had. Such a pretty flower!

    1. Some years it’s crazy when the blooms beat the leaves out, some years they come out together and the purple is muted, This year seems to be an in-between year.
