Sunday, March 17th

I’m still around… just haven’t had much to say lately.  I’ll make an effort to get back in the habit once again.

Today has been quiet. The world has pulled on it’s greenery to celebrate the day.

It’s late afternoon, a cool spring feel to the world. The sun is out for the first time in a long time. The breeze has a chill to it as it moves the trees.

Spring has been putting on a show for weeks down here. Our azaleas are at peak. The wisteria is just beginning to show it’s clusters of purple blooms.

  1. I’m so glad to see your post. I thought about you when I happened to be around Alvin yesterday, and was going to send an email to see how things were going. I was happy to see the bluebonnets doing so well alongside the road in their usual spot., and there are a lot of trees that are suddenly leafing out. I went through Alvin a couple of weeks ago, too, and actually got “lost” — I missed a turn coming off FM1462 and actually saw the Busy Bee. Now I know where you hang out on weekends!

    1. Thanks Linda. Yes, spring is definitely in the air. Flowers are blooming everywhere. My neighbor and I tend to put off mowing our yards until late to allow the spring wildflowers to bloom. Makes for an interesting first mowing to say the least.
