Friday January 27th
Another frosty morning towards the end of January. The temperature this morning is in the upper thirties, but it’ll be going up into the ’60s by afternoon. This is only the second morning this winter that I can recall frost on the grass.
Earlier this week I noticed something that surprised me… My fig tree is already covered with large leaves. I mean come on, January.
So now it’s the mulberries and the fig trees that have leafed out in the middle of winter…
That is crazy as it may be, I’ve had water standing in low spots in the yard for 2 weeks now. And they’re promising more rain this weekend…
Well the week is over, the weekends here … Everyone enjoy themselves and try to stay safe and healthy… I’ll catch you on the other side.
I thought that looked like frost, but it never occurred to me it could be. I assumed it was just dew. It’s very pretty, but I could stand a warmup!
