Tuesday January 24th
It’s cool, breezy, and wet already this morning. Though the temperature is almost 60°, there is a rather strong breeze blowing a fine misty rain… And the prognosticators are promising this is just the start of a blustery weather day…
Some cold fronts come into Houston like lambs. Today’s front, however, will be a lion. The prime time for severe weather today will run from late morning to about 4 pm as the front barrels into the region. A lot of the ingredients that we look for when it comes to severe weather, including instability and an energetic atmosphere, will be in place ahead of, and along with the front today.
And if anything, my computer shows a good representation of what’s heading my way…
So, my day will be spent feeding the washing machine and reading as I try to stay dry… Catch y’all on the other side…
