The morning is warm and foggy… 67° with a dense fog advisory. The prognosticators are foretelling if a high temperature today is 79°. Not a very fall-like weather pattern we’re having this week… With highs of about 80 or above for the next 7 days.

My sons came over yesterday and helped me get the Christmas lights up on the porch. I don’t try to get all National Lampoon with my Christmas lights. It’s just not who I am. I do put up quite a few, but just across the front of the front porch.

I probably should have videoed the experience of putting up the Christmas lights…. Except, our conversation while doing so was a bit ribald at best. A father and his sons bonding…

I’ve been listening to the outrage over the GOP not condemning former President Trump’s comments about how the Constitution should be thrown out so he could be appointed sitting president…

I guess, I find myself more outraged to think that enough Americans could be convinced that Donald Trump was presidential enough to elect in the first place. I mean really folks, this man is more worried about the perceived size of his….. crowds, then the reality of the job. I guess my real question has been and will be, has Donald Trump ever read the Constitution of the United States?

Well, my coffee cup is empty so I guess it’s time to bring these muses to an end…. Y’all have a great week, stay safe, stay healthy … And please, please say a prayer for this dysfunctional nation!
