It was just yesterday that I noticed the first few colored leaves on the oak tree. This morning the color is spreading. It looks like this will be a nicely colored late fall display.

Also, the bald cypress is showing a bit more color. When you add in the cooler temperatures that followed yesterday’s frontal boundary, it’s really feeling a lot like fall.

The rain gauge out back is just shy of 3 inches from yesterday’s rain. The Space City guys are saying we could get another three to five inches today and tomorrow…. Sherry said she saw where the burn ban had been lifted…. Go figure.

Yeah it’s time for another cup… So I’ll catch up on the other side.
