I got to sleep in a little this morning… There’s no school today and Monday for some reason. I still managed to beat the sun up though.

It’s reasonably cool this morning. Not that it won’t be summertime warm by afternoon…

I’m having a bit of a strange breakfast today… I’ve been working on a pot of soup all week for lunches. I’m kinda famous with my kids for my “Leftover Soup”. I usually start a pot after I cook a roast or some other big cut of meat… Then I add stock and vegetables on a daily basis changing the soup as it evolves all week long until I usually retire it at the end of the week. My soup pot today still had a bit to much working to finish at lunch so I put it on early to simmer in time for breakfast… Not a normal breakfast I know, but I’m happy with it. I’ll leave the pot simmering for lunch.

Winamp has been running all morning. One of my favorite musical programs is The Mountain Stage. I have a number of their podcasts downloaded and enjoy listening to them. The only thing I’ve noticed is that the volume level on their files is much lower than almost everything else in my library… So after listening to a two hour program with the volume turned up, the next song to play blasts thru the speaker… Oh well…
