october thirteenth

thursday

On the front porch again. And it’s actually getting darker as a cool front blows through the area. Off to the north and east thunder rumbles. Hopefully, the grandkids will get on the bus before it decides to rain.

Last evening before sunset we had a relatively small thunderstorm blow through… And the course of 15 to 20 minutes it dropped a little over a half an inch of rain.

The guy is over at Space City Weather Don’t hold out much hope for this cool front as far as cool weather. But it will lead into a warmer weekend followed by a real cool front setting us up for some really nice fall weather.

I think I’m going to call this quits as the bus comes down the road… So I’ll catch y’all on the other side.

  1. It’s been pouring over here for about a half hour. I doubt that we’ve gotten more than a couple of tenths, or maybe a quarter inch, but every little bit helps. Hope the kids made the bus still dry.

    1. This morning’s rain seems to be passing us by to the east… So the kids just had a sound effects soundtrack while they waited…
