Waiting for the bus before 7:00 a.m., and it’s already very warm out. The temperature for the day is 79°. And the sun is just starting to shine through the trees.

Hopefully, the rain the prognosticators are fortelling of will get here next week. We really, really could use some rain. The last time I checked my part of Brazoria County is in the second highest drought category.

Back out almost an hour later to await the arrival of the second bus and the weather is still sticky. At least it’s breezy on this warm summer morning.

I have another doctor’s appointment this morning. Another follow-up with my surgeon. So far everything is going well. Hopefully it will keep doing so.

Well, the second bus was early… Almost too early. But the grandson is on his way to school and I’ve got less than an hour to hit the road myself… Everyone have a great day and I’ll catch you on the other side.
