Monday afternoon

The day started out in the upper 60s… It’s now in the mid ’70s. It’s misted rain all day long. The prognosticators are foretelling of an overnight low in the upper 50s where the rain in the forecast. Tomorrow’s high should be about the same as today. But tomorrow night’s low is going down into the mid 40s.

The birds are sure liking the spring-like weather… They’ve been seen all day long.

Well, I’m going to get back to my Kindle and read a bit more, so y’all stay safe, stay healthy, and pray for our dysfunctional country and the world.

  1. You’re lucky — we had a little mist in the morning, and a bit this afternoon, but I’m hoping for some ‘real’ rain this evening. The doves certainly are cooing, and I finally I heard a cardinal this morning, before dawn. Exciting!

    1. The lawn guys managed to mow between mistings, but they had to work at it to keep the clumps of cuttings spread out… Cardinals are a permeant fixture here. They visit my feeders all day long. I actually spotted a bluebird yesterday… And you are right, the doves have been talking the last few days…

As I write this the main batch of rain is showing up to the north and west of us… And what a batch it appears to be. When I woke up this morning it was to the announcement of a Tornado Watch in effect. Oh well, if we lose power today I have two Kindles and my phone fully charged.

      Stay dry Linda…
