The 16th of July, 2021

Friday

It’s in the upper 80s this morning. The humidity is in the 90% range. So I thought I would step out into the shade of the front porch.

There’s a frontal boundary running from North Texas all the way up to New England. The radar shows quite a bit of rain along that boundary. Prognosticators are raising the chances of rain down here on the Gulf Coast during the next week. How at this time they’re foretelling stays below 50%.

Sitting in my lounge chair looking out the back windows there is a small patch of sky off to the southeast that I can see. And since that direction leads off to Galveston, I can usually see the offshore clouds coming on shore. It seems to be a regular feature of this area for clouds to build up in that vicinity and move on shore. This morning they’re moving rather quickly.

Well, the cup is running empty so I’ll bring this muse to an end. Y’all stay safe, stay healthy, and pray for the nation and the world.
