June 10th, Thursday

It’s not quite as warm as yesterday but the humidity is higher. It’s 77° with a 95% humidity. The humidity is so high you can see it… There’s a slight fog hanging over the landscape.

Well, my quiet week at home is winding down. Tomorrow will bring the grandkids home… Then it will be the endless rounds questions from my preteen granddaughter. And groans from my preteen grandson. Ahhh, the joys of growing up… I’m talking about me by the way.

At least the prognosticators are putting the chances of precipitation at 12% today. It’s when it gets into the 30% range that I start worrying. It seems that when the prognosticators are wishy-washy in the 30% range is when we flood. It’s happened a few times over the years. I suppose it could be worse… Tomorrow, Friday, the prognosticators are foretelling of the 13% chance of precipitation… Got to love Friday the 13%.

I was roused from my slumber this morning by a text message from my younger son. He was sending me a link to a property he’s looking at… In England. Being up in New York State he forgets I’m still asleep before 7:00 a.m. my time… Or I was anyway.

Well I’m going to enjoy looking out my frosted windows until the condensation dries… I drink my first cup of coffee of the day. Y’all stay safe, stay healthy, and pray for the nation and the world.
