10th of April, Saturday

The color green has over taken the world these days. With a little splashes of white and pink and blue and purple scattered around the yard. And there are splashes blue and red and brown and russet scattered amongst the trees. It’s wildflowers scattered around the yard and birds scattered amongst the trees. Splashes of color in a colorful world.

I am sitting on the back porch in my rocking chair with the ceiling fans on. The temperature out here right now is 73°, before the day is over it’ll be pushing 90°.

For the first time, I had a couple of whistling ducks in the trees out back here. They flew from the edge of the woods up into the pine trees. I’ve never seen them settle in a pine tree before.

When I first sat down it was bright but hazy. Now the clouds are getting thicker and the sun is almost completely gone.

Looking around it is only the pecan trees that still look a little bare, though even they now have a fringe of green as their leaves begin to open.

Well, as nice as it is out here on the porch, it’s Saturday and I have things to do. So y’all stay safe, stay healthy, and pray, for our nation, our world, and your neighbors.

Get out today and enjoy the nature bath… Just immerse yourself somewhere nature.
