The ground fog is thickening as the morning brightens. It’s cool out, but not as nippy as it has been. My thermometer said 56 before I walked our. It’s cool enough to see my breath. But not cool enough to make me feel underdressed in my shorts and Henley.

We definitely won’t have a repeat of yesterday’s sunrise. But watching wraiths of fog drifting through the yard is kind of neat.

Autumn is definatly starting to show… I’m seeing hints of color in the red oak. Out on the road I saw many trees bedecked in their fall colors… not majority, this is SE Texas after all.

A abundance of crows are having a confab across Mustang Bayou. While a cardinal sings in the pine tree.

I went to bed early last night, worn out by the web updating and the slow moving vote counts around the country. I do not begrudge having to wait for the count. I do begrudge having to listen to the falsehoods, hell no, call it what it is… the Presidential lies of Donald Trump.

I was watching MSNBC last night when the President*** decided to finaly give a press conference from the White House… when he started in on illegal votes they went back to the studio and said they weren’t going to broadcast his falsehoods… something I think the newsmedia should have done from the very beginning. Without the media amplification of his lies and bravado we might have been saved much of the pain these last four years have brought.

Folks there is no evidence of illegal votes. There are just votes… votes by American citizens, like you and me… black, brown, white… our fellow citizens. The only reason the President is throwing a temper tantrum is because he knows, yes knows, he lost. I’ll say it again… Donald Trump is the loser. But then again, he always has been.

Y’all stay safe, stay healthy, and Pray for our Nation and the world. Our Nation is really going to need the prayers while the President*** and his minions come to terms with what has happened.
