Ah, Saturday morning. Add in a cool front that had this morning’s temperature in the 50’s and a cool north breeze and the morning couldn’t get much better. Though, I had to open the umbrella to keep the sun’s glare out of my eyes so I can enjoy the morning.

I spent quite a bit of time tinkering under the hood in this site… refreshing and deleting files that seemed to date from the mid teens. Somewhere over the years the site software had gotten mucked up a bit and it was basically just limping along. Thinks that hadn’t worked in awhile somehow now work. Updates that would error out now update. Even some uncooperative plugins now plugin. So, while it might seem like I wasted hours and hours, I’m quite happy how it all turned out.

I’m seeing some loose flocks of dark colored birds flying about this morning. I guess whatever they are they rode in on the front. There’s a bit of an overcast moving in… toning down the sunshine.

Looking at the long range forecast, I see we are going to warm up a bit over the next few days before getting another cool down about Tuesday. I’m looking forward to finally saying goodbye to summer.
