Weekend mornings start on the front porch because I almost always sleep in. And, by the time I’m up, the back porch is warming up too much for comfort. So, instead of a rocking chair I start my day on a glider.

The prognosticators are calling for scattered showers all this coming week. We can definitely use some rain, it’s way too dry around here. But, the cotton farmers aren’t going to be too happy. Almost all of the fields are ready to pick and rain disrupts the cycle. Last years rains caused my cousins husband to have to spray multiple rounds of defoliant on his fields. And that ain’t cheap at all.
