A light fog is spreading as I sit here. The view shown in the image about is already hazier than 5 minutes ago when I shot it.

There is a single crow announcing itself to the world off to the east.

To the south a cow pronounces It’s displeasure.

And traffic on the bypass goes thump… thump… thump as it crosses Mustang Bayou.

TxDot keeps promising that the lights on the bypass will be fixed once the construction is done… by early September at least. I’ll believe that when I see it’s happened.

Time to leave the porch before the sun breaks the horizon.  The prognosticators are foretelling of another hot one.
