Sunday, December Second

It’s shorts and tank top weather as we move into December for a morning coffee muses.

The sky is crystal clear and almost Wedgewood blue. All of the pecan trees are leafless as they reach into the clear blue sky. Dew glistens on leaves that barely move in the hushed breath of air. The red oak is rapidly losing Its race with fall color… leaves falling faster than the green pigmentation can be absorbed.

My mulberry trees have gone from stalks with brown leaves to bare stalks in a week. And yet, the predominant color in my yard is still green…

The morning sun, shining down on the back porch is warming my world rapidly. Time for ceiling fans.

As you can see, the red oak is getting sparse.  Fewer leaves every day. My shots of the backyard always seem slanted due to the way the shadows stretch across the yard. A bothersome situation that I can do nothing about.

Time to shut this muse down and check my mail…
