Tuesday, June twelfth

Breezy, warm, and humid… an almost perfect summer’s morning coffee muses.

The sun comes and goes as clouds scud by. The cicadas buzz rises and falls like the intensity of the breeze… coming and going like the sun. The tall grasses along Mustang Bayou are rolling like waves in the wind and sun, barely visible to my eyes.

The heat has run me back inside. I’m waiting for the clock to run around to take my eldest daughter to a Dr appt. The ailment of summer, a sinus infection, has struck once more.

Now I am watching the news. Last night’s coverage of the North Korea talks is playing now. I’m ambivalent about this meeting. It would be nice to finally put the Korean War to bed… Will it happen?

Last evening I received a first for me, a Rasmussen poll. Interesting set of questions. Politics and online dating… Trump and the art of love? Go figure… maybe it relates to the talks in Singapore.

I’m waiting on a call from my builder today for confirmation of the extent of the repairs they are going to do. Sherry is off at the end of the week, we’d like to run up and pick tiles to replace what we now have.

Time for breakfast before running out the door…
