Monday, April twenty-third

Cool, cloudless, beautiful spring morning coffee muses.

The little birds are chattering all over, in trees here and there. It’s not loud, just a background music that lets you know they’re there. It’s kinda like the hum of a hummingbird’s wings letting you know they are around even when you don’t see them.

Yesterday, after I posted, I spotted a couple of male Rose-breasted Grosbeaks and a couple of Indigo Buntings on the mulberries. That’s my second sighting of the Indigo Buntings and my first of the Grosbeaks. It’s not a drop out event year but it’s always nice to catch a glimpse of these new friends.
