The last day of September opens cooler.
Saturday traffic sounds from the bypass carry in the cooler air.
The remaining hummingbirds are chasing each other about the feeders.
The neighbor across the way is starting his own Deere meditations.
The sound of his lawnmower is drowned out by the sound of a semi on the highway.
Three squirrels play chase up one oak tree and down another.
Both front yard pecans are covered with green nuts, it’ll be a good year for pecans.
It’s about time to get ready for a Busy Bee breakfast…
