It’s 31° this morning… But it’s headed up to 65° by afternoon. Once again there’s frost on the grass. That’s about as close as we ever come to snow most winter days.

Everyone is still on pins and needles for the upcoming winter storm…

Looking ahead, we seldom see two mornings with 20° temperatures in this area. As a matter of fact in many years you see no 20° temperatures at all.

And to think, this storm is hitting one month earlier almost to the day as the one that wiped out everybody in 2021.

Could this be the reason that presidential campaigns used to start their primaries and caucuses in March? No matter what.. y’all stay safe in Iowa.

Oh.. but look.. Democrats in Iowa are still having their caucus in March.
