As the sun comes up the skies are clear with a ground haze drifting through. The temperature this morning is it chilly? 41°. And yet, the prognosticators are foretelling of a high today of at least 70°…

And so, here we are, a week before Christmas. And what you ask is the forecast for Christmas Day? Those same prognosticators are saying that Christmas morning will start out at a chilly 60° before rising to a teeth chattering 69° for a high.

And while the whole run up to Christmas Day will have moisture falling from the sky.. we will be very, very far from having a white Christmas.

So, if I wish to remember one of the few white Christmases I’ve enjoyed, I’ll have to look at the photo above our mantle…
