Once again the morning is chilly. Even now it is 49° outside. It’s just a bit chilly in the house too. Though, the temperature is still above where it would cause the heater to kick on. But since the days are still mild, I haven’t turned the AC off yet.

I will say this.. it’s kind of amazing that this part of the country has very muted fall colors. It’s still predominantly green out with just a bit of yellowish brown thrown in.. except for the Red oak in the backyard.

Now when I turn into the driveway I can see the color over the top of the house. It’s almost shocking. How bright and vivid the fall color is. It’s not common down here on the Gulf Coast.
