When we stood before the justice all those years ago. I don’t think I ever envisioned being here and now…
Somehow.. after all these years.. we’ve become our grandparents.
That was brought home to me as we went through mom’s house and found my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary China set.
And sitting on the back porch this week as the leaves on the Red oak are just beginning to change colors is quite the metaphor for our life…
I look forward to many more years of waking up besides you in the recliners while the TV drones late into the night…
