Another interesting morning.. though the temperature is up, the humidity is down.. so in terms of how it feels it’s pretty much a wash.

Watching the battles unfold out my back window for the past few days has felt a lot like watching a miniaturized version of the Battle of Britain.

The hummingbirds are piling up so much at the feeders that I might have to make an emergency run for sugar this week. I put three cups of sugar water in each one when they get empty. But, you can almost see the level dropping in real time.

And, with the chance of a good strong cold front not even in the foreseeable future, they’ll be around for a while.

Well it’s time for a breakfast tako run… Y’all stay cool and I’ll catch y’all on the other side.
