It should be no surprise to anyone reading this blog that I am a bleeding heart liberal. And as such, I find today to be quite disconcerting. The very fact that this country has reached a place in its history or a large minority of its citizens can contemplate re-electing Donald John Trump after the way he’s treated our laws, our Constitution, even the office of the Presidency.

As we await DJT appearing in federal court in Washington DC today, we once again are forced to wonder how this man has managed to abuse the laws of this country for so long.

And yet, the party of the “moral majority”, of law and order, of Christian morality still worships the ground that he walks upon. Even those who claim to believe he has done criminal acts during his term in office say they will still vote for him.

And still, he runs… Not to serve America, but to try and stay out of jail. Because it’s already been proven that a sitting president will not be held accountable for his crimes.

And for all of the Republicans screaming about weaponized government… Keep in mind, this all happened on your watch. DJT weaponized the government against his enemies. And tried to weaponize the government against a free and fair election.
