A person could get used to these spring-like mornings at the end of May. The temperature on the front porch this morning is 71°, the dew point is 67°. Please do points in the ’60s have been making in the mornings quite pleasant. Though with afternoon highs around 90°, even dew points in the mid to ’50s aren’t enough to make 90° pleasant.
Looking at the 10-day forecast I see that the overnight dew points don’t stay above 70° until June 1st. I can’t say I am looking forward to that. Thank you Space City Weather for explaining dew points to me. Now, I can anticipate pleasant mornings before I even step out of the house.
Well, the kids have stepped onto the bus for their last trip of this school year. I can now turn off my morning alarms, and let the sun wake me each day. At least until August when they go back to school.
For a while I have been working on a painting. It’s not completed yet but it’s getting close so I thought I would share…
I guess you could say the unending overcast sunrises have been getting to me.. so I tried to paint my own colorful version.
Oh well, my second cup of coffee is calling.. and some breakfast will be needed to start my day.. so y’all have a great day, TGIF, but I’ll catch y’all on the other side.
