Monday May 15th
Stepped out before sunup to just a little bit more color. It’s just a bit cooler this morning at 74°.
Though now that I’m on the front porch waiting for the bus the sun has decided to hide behind the clouds. The forecast for the day has a chance of more rain in it. While there isn’t much standing water in the yard today, the ground is still saturated. In the past week we’ve had almost 4 inches of rain total.
It has been a morning of train whistles. There was a train coming by when I took the shots, and there’s a train going by now.
Well, the big yellow bus is pulling up at the end of the driveway. The grandkids have now climbed on and the bus driver has waved goodbye. It’s time to get a start on another day…
