Sunday April 2nd

It was very foggy earlier this morning.. not so much now. There is a stench to the air from the smoke residue from the “trash pile” the neighbor a couple of properties over was burning yesterday.
The temperature is 70°. The winds are calm. The humidity is high. The forecasted high for the day is 81°. There is a 20% chance of rain this morning.. not that there’s any on the radar before you get to the Louisiana border.
In my front yard there’s a small red oak tree that I planted a half dozen years ago or so.. I keep looking at it because I haven’t seen any green show up on it. So yesterday afternoon I walked out to take a look.. and this is what I saw..

So, no matter what the temperature says, spring is here… Y’all have a good day and I’ll catch y’all on the other side.
