I’m sitting on the front porch today, watching the kids get on the bus. It’s already starting to get warmer. But, the world is green and filled with bird song.

According to the prognosticators, you should see some clouds and precipitation sometime later today. We actually had a shower yesterday afternoon… Didn’t last long, but it came down pretty hard for the short time it did last. But, no matter what, we could use more rain.

Had a good visit on Saturday afternoon with a couple of my friends from high school. They were in town for the 50th reunion. They and their wives stopped by for a visit and we reminisced about the good old days… And some of what’s going on in the year since.

One of them I have spoken to off and on over the years. I’ve known him since elementary school. We first got together in the second grade. The other was probably my best friend and high school but we haven’t spoken in almost 40 years. It was really good to reconnect. The funny thing was the connection was almost as strong with their wives.
