Monday
October is over… November is here, Halloween decorations are lined up to be put away for another year. Thanksgiving decorations will be going out… Soon to be replaced by Christmas décor…
The weather seems to finally be into fall mode. Cool nighttime lows followed by unfortunately warmer than I would like afternoon highs. But, such are the ways of SE Texas less than 50 mikes from the Gulf Coast.
We are back to normal around here. The wife is back at work. The grandkids are in school. My youngest daughter isn’t speaking to me… Life is all normal…
My wife and I drove past the Home we had built over 30 years ago in Pasadena yesterday. The neighborhood looks pretty much like it did pack in the day… except for the trees. My god how the trees have grown. And the traffic is definitely so very much worse than when we lived in the subdivision on the edge of town. The roads are lined with strip centers and the once empty fields are filled with houses… It makes me happy we moved to what was mostly rural Alvin… Though, I can see the same patterns coming into focus around here.
Y’all stay safe, stay healthy, and pray for our dysfunctional nation and world…
See y’all down the road…
