Friday

And the rains continue… It’s a pleasant 73° on the front porch this morning. And yes, the humidity is high, but what do you expect when it’s raining. And the range just keep on falling.

We had a small murder of crows on the front on yesterday. I’ve been hanging around more often in groups of a dozen or less. I’m not sure what the attraction is because usually they’re just passing by. But as I drove back up to the house yesterday they were practically on front porch. They rose into the air… and for a moment one settled on the peak of the roof to watch me get out of the car.

Looking at the procrastinators weather for telling for the next week or two seems to show that much lesser chance of precipitation after today. Though even so, each day seems to have a 30% chance or better showers moving through. But we could really do with a bit of a drying spell. We’ve had water standing in the yard for days now. Plus I’d really like to see the yard men know it on a regular basis.

I will probably miss tomorrow’s Coffee Muses… We’ll be headed up to Milan County. An early lunch with my wife’s uncle followed by a cemetery visit. The birthday celebration and a celebration of life. So just know, I’ll be spending the majority of the day in the Subaru.

Y’all stay safe, stay healthy, and pray for the nation in the world… We ain’t out of the woods yet.
